    l’Ancienne CIN n’ est plus valide!

    Le ministre de la Justice et de la sécurité publique, Me Rockefeller Vincent, a tenu à rappeler à la population que l’ancienne carte d’identification nationale n’est plus en vigueur, ce, conformément au décret du 18 juin 2020.

    Les citoyennes et citoyens sont priés de se rendre aux bureaux de l’ ONI afin de se procurer de la nouvelle carte dans les meilleurs délais. Pour répondre aux besoins pressants de la population, le gouvernement a pris toutes les dispositions logistiques appropriées afin que cette opération se fasse dans la meilleure condition, informe le titulaire du MJSP.

    «Seule la nouvelle carte d’identification nationale pourra être utilisée comme pièce d’identité », avait déclaré Wandy Charles, le directeur de la communication de l’ONI. Le permis autorise son porteur à conduire, le passeport demeure une pièce d’identification, avait-il précisé.

    Cette décision arrive à un moment où seulement 2 millions de personnes sont déja détenteurs de la nouvelle carte d’identification nationale, selon les dires du directeur de la communication de l’ ONI.

    Avec un nouveau Conseil Electoral Provisoire (CEP) ayant un déficit de légitimité, une crise politique aiguë et une insécurité précaire, le gouvernement sera-t-il en mesure de compléter ce processus électoral?
