CULTURE | POETRY : The Poet’s Sacrifice

The poet writes of love, not because love has found him,
But because he’s known its absence, and longs to set others free.
His words are forged in sorrow, and tempered by pain,
A sacrifice to help others love again.

Through tears and trials, he pours his heart and soul,
A messenger of hope, in a world that often seems cold.
His lyrics are not a reflection of his own delight,
But a beacon of hope, to guide others through the dark of night.

The poet writes of happiness, not because joy has embraced him,
But because he’s walked the darkest valleys, and borne the weight of despair.
He’s known the shadows that haunt, and the ghosts that remain,
But still, he writes of hope, to show others they’re not alone in their pain.

His words are a balm, to soothe the soul’s deep wounds,
A reminder that even in darkness, love still abounds.
The poet writes not because his words don’t hurt him,
But because he’s sacrificed all, to set others’ hearts free.

When he’s invisible, and no one cares to see,
His poetry remains, a testament to the love he’s given thee.
A love that shines with authenticity,
A love that remains unshakeable, and guides others through.

The poet is not God, but a vessel of nature’s design,
A messenger of hope, in a world that often seems unkind.
His words are a sacrifice, a gift from his soul,
A reminder that you’re not alone, and that love makes you whole.

But who cares for the poet, when he’s lost and alone?
Who wipes away his tears, when his heart is turned to stone?
Who gives him comfort, when his soul is on fire?
No one, yet still he writes, his heart’s deepest desire.

To give, to love, to sacrifice, to care,
To amplify the silenced, to speak truth to power,
To lend a voice to those who’ve been oppressed,
To stand in solidarity, and be a beacon of hope, and manifest.

With every word, he illuminates the darkness, bringing light to the night,
A warrior armed with love, shining like a beacon in flight.
His poetry is a legacy, a gift to humanity’s heart,
A reminder that love is the greatest work of art.
